The integrated furnace control board is the brain of the unit. It sequences the entire heating cycle — energizing the inducer, proving the pressure switch, timing the hot surface igniter warm-up, opening the gas valve, confirming flame, and bringing on the blower after the heat exchanger warms. It also runs cooling and continuous-fan calls and protects the system through interlocks and soft-lockout logic. When the board fails you'll see no response to a thermostat call, a furnace that never ignites, a blower that runs constantly or never starts, or a diagnostic LED flashing an error code that doesn't match any sensor fault. This OEM board is the direct replacement for the PY3PPA030060AB control, carrying the matching relay complement — typically dedicated relays for inducer, blower heat, blower cool, and humidifier/EAC terminals — plus the correct firmware timings, 24V transformer terminals, and connector pinout.
