This is the factory OEM draft proving pressure switch for the Carrier PY3GPAA48115AA packaged unit. The pressure switch monitors negative pressure created by the inducer motor to confirm proper venting before allowing ignition. When it fails or sticks open, the control board will lock out the system before reaching the ignition stage — leaving you with a furnace that won't fire and a flashing fault code. OEM part number HK06WC061 has been superseded by HK06MB061; both are covered by this listing and ship as the current factory-authorized replacement.
