OEM Carrier High & Low Pressure Switch HK02ZA395 / HK02ZB044 for Model PH1ZNA024000ABAA
This OEM pressure switch kit contains both the high pressure switch (HK02ZA395) and the low pressure switch (HK02ZB044) — the factory-specified replacements for the Carrier PH1ZNA024000ABAA heat pump system. These switches continuously monitor refrigerant-side pressures to protect the compressor from catastrophic high-side over-pressure and low-side loss-of-charge conditions. When either switch fails or trips without resetting, the system will go into protective lockout, displaying a fault code and refusing to run cooling or heating cycles until the fault is cleared.

OEM vs Generic: OEM pressure switches are calibrated to exact factory trip points. Aftermarket substitutes frequently carry ±10–15% pressure tolerances, risking nuisance trips or, worse, failure to protect the compressor under genuine fault conditions — potentially voiding equipment warranties.
-
Install difficulty: 3/5 — System must be recovered and de-pressurized before replacing the high-side switch. Low-side switch swap is straightforward with basic hand tools. Tools needed: refrigerant manifold gauges, 1/8" NPT fitting wrench, wire crimpers, multimeter. Always verify both switches with a multimeter for continuity before condemning the board.
