These two OEM Carrier pressure switches are the factory-specified refrigerant safety controls for the Carrier PH10JA04800GABAA packaged heat pump unit. The high pressure switch (HK02ZA395) monitors the high side of the refrigerant circuit, opening at 395 PSI and resetting at 295 PSI to protect the compressor from dangerously elevated discharge pressure. The companion low pressure switch (HK02ZB038) monitors the suction side, opening at 7 PSI and closing at 22 PSI with a 50-inch lead set, guarding against low-charge or evaporator freeze conditions.
