This OEM dual pressure switch assembly is the factory-specified replacement for the Carrier PG9YAB060100AAAA gas furnace. The pressure switch is a critical safety device that monitors the negative pressure (vacuum) created by the draft inducer motor before and during each heating cycle. It contains two individually calibrated switches — one proving blower operation at 1.38" W.C. and one proving vent transition at 2.11" W.C. — that must both close in sequence before the control board allows ignition to proceed.
