This OEM pressure switch with mounting bracket (part HK06NB124) is the factory-authorized replacement for the Carrier PG9MAA036080AEKA gas furnace. The pressure switch is a safety device that monitors negative pressure created by the inducer draft motor. Before each ignition sequence, the furnace control board checks this switch to confirm the inducer is operating correctly and the flue path is unobstructed.
