This is the factory OEM replacement LP gas pressure switch for the Carrier PG8MAA048135AEJA packaged gas unit. The pressure switch is a critical safety component that monitors the negative pressure (vacuum) created by the draft inducer motor before allowing ignition to proceed. When the switch fails — or the inducer fails to create adequate draft — the control board receives no signal and the furnace locks out on a pressure-switch fault, producing a no-heat call. Common symptoms include a flashing fault code, the inducer running but burners never lighting, or repeated restart attempts with no ignition.
