OEM Carrier Gas Valve EF32CW210 — 24V Natural Gas, 3.5" WC, 1/2" NPT for Model PG8MAA048110ABJA
This is the factory OEM combination gas valve for the Carrier PG8MAA048110ABJA gas furnace. The gas valve is the heart of your furnace's heating circuit — it opens on command from the integrated furnace control board to deliver metered natural gas to the burners upon a confirmed call for heat. When this valve fails, the furnace will attempt ignition, the igniter will glow, but no gas will flow — resulting in a lockout fault and a cold home. You may also see fault codes related to flame sense or failed ignition attempts on the control board LED.

OEM vs Generic: This is a genuine Carrier Factory Authorized Part. OEM gas valves are calibrated to the exact outlet pressure and flow rate specified for your PG8MAA048110ABJA furnace. Aftermarket valves may ship at incorrect pressure settings, causing combustion inefficiency, nuisance lockouts, or carbon monoxide risk — always choose OEM on gas-carrying components.

Install difficulty: 3/5 — Gas valve replacement requires turning off the gas supply at the shutoff, disconnecting the wiring harness and gas line connections, and verifying outlet pressure with a manometer after installation. Tools needed: adjustable wrench, 1/4" nut driver, manometer, pipe thread sealant (gas-rated). This repair should only be performed by a licensed HVAC technician in jurisdictions requiring gas work permits.

Warranty: 1-year OEM manufacturer warranty. In-stock and ships same business day from our warehouse.
Compatibility: Engineered as a direct OEM replacement for the Carrier PG8MAA048110ABJA gas furnace. Always verify your unit's gas type (natural gas), voltage (24V), and inlet/outlet pipe size (1/2" NPT) against your data plate before ordering. Not for use with LP/propane systems without an approved conversion kit. Have a fitment question? Our HVAC parts specialists verify compatibility before you order — contact us before you buy.
