CERTIFICATION PREP — NATE CORE

NATE Core Certification
Exam Prep Course

What Is NATE Certification?

NATE - North American Technician Excellence - is the largest non-profit certification organization for HVAC/R technicians in the United States. NATE certification is the industry's most recognized credential, demonstrating that a technician has the knowledge and skills to properly install, service, and maintain HVAC equipment.

Unlike EPA 608 which is a legal requirement, NATE is voluntary - but it carries enormous professional value. Over 20,000 HVAC contractors participate in the NATE program, and NATE-certified technicians are in high demand.

ℹ Why Get NATE Certified?

NATE-certified technicians complete jobs faster with fewer callbacks. Studies show they achieve higher customer satisfaction scores and command higher wages. Many manufacturers require NATE-certified installation for warranty approval, and utilities often require NATE certification for equipment rebate programs.
