This OEM PTAC thermostat kit replaces the temperature controls and selector knob on your Tempstar TEB09R25DCA packaged terminal air conditioner. It includes the primary PTAC thermostat (part 1058517), a low-temperature limit control (part 1059022), and the matching selector knob (part 1058437). The thermostat cycles the compressor and heat to hold your setpoint, while the low-temp control protects the unit by interrupting operation when coil or room temperatures drop too far — preventing coil freeze-up and compressor damage. A failed thermostat causes short-cycling or runaway runtime; a failed low-temp control causes nuisance lockouts or, worse, no freeze protection at all.

Installation Guide
