Installation Guide
- Safety First — Disconnect power at the unit cord or breaker and verify zero voltage with a multimeter before touching any wiring.
- Access — Remove the front grille and control-panel cover to expose the thermostat body.
- Document — Photograph all wire connections and terminal positions before disconnecting anything.
- Remove — Pull off the old knob, release the thermostat mounting clip or screws, and disconnect the spade terminals.
- Install — Mount the new thermostat (1058517), reconnect each wire per your photo, and press on the new knob (1058437).
- Test — Restore power and verify the unit cycles on and off correctly across the dial range.
