Overview

This is the OEM thermostat control assembly for the Tempstar TEB07R00STA packaged terminal air conditioner (PTAC). It includes the PTAC thermostat body (P/N 1058517) and the matching replacement control knob (P/N 1058437). The thermostat operates the unit's 24V control circuit, sensing room temperature and switching the compressor and fan to hold setpoint. A failed PTAC thermostat leaves the unit unresponsive to setpoint adjustments, short-cycling, or running nonstop; a worn or cracked knob is the most frequent failure, making the stat impossible to set even when the control itself still works.
