Overview

This is the OEM thermostat control assembly for the Tempstar TEB07K34STA packaged terminal air conditioner (PTAC). It includes the PTAC thermostat body (P/N 1058517) and the matching replacement control knob (P/N 1058437). The thermostat runs the unit's 24V control circuit, reading room temperature and switching the compressor and fan to maintain setpoint. When it fails, the unit stops responding to setpoint changes, short-cycles, or runs continuously; a cracked or stripped knob is the most common complaint, leaving the stat present but unadjustable.
