This OEM PTAC thermostat kit provides the temperature control for the Tempstar TEB07K34DCA packaged terminal air conditioner. It combines the rotary knob (OEM 1058437), the standard PTAC thermostat (OEM 1058517), and the low-temperature thermostat (OEM 1059022) that protects the unit in freeze-prone applications by preventing operation below safe temperatures. These are 24V low-voltage controls. A failed PTAC thermostat causes the unit to run continuously, fail to start, or ignore the knob setting; a failed low-temp thermostat can allow nuisance cutouts or, worse, defeat freeze protection.
