- Remove — Disconnect the wires; if the switch threads onto a Schrader port, depressurize/recover per EPA practice, then unthread the old switch.
- Install — Thread on the new switch (replace the Schrader core/seal as needed) and reconnect the control wires per your photo.
- Test — Restore power, call for cooling, and confirm the compressor runs without nuisance high-pressure tripping.
