This genuine OEM high pressure switch (part number 1184656) is the high-side refrigerant safety control for the Tempstar TCA724GKA200 condensing unit. Wired into the 24V control circuit, the switch continuously monitors discharge-side refrigerant pressure and opens the circuit to shut the compressor down if pressure climbs to an unsafe level.
