No Power
No power to board.
DIY check: Check breaker, switch, fuse, transformer.

1 Flash
Lockout / Retries Exceeded
Ignition lockout after max attempts.
DIY check: Power cycle. Check igniter, flame sensor, gas supply.

2 Flashes
Pressure Switch Error
Pressure switch did not close.
DIY check: Check condensate drain, vent, hose, inducer.
Common part needed: Shop Pressure Switch →
3 Flashes
Limit Switch Open
High limit tripped from overheating.
DIY check: Check air filter, registers, blower operation.
Common part needed: Shop Fan Motor →
4 Flashes
Flame Sensed Improperly
Flame detected when gas should be off.
DIY check: Turn off gas, call technician.
Common part needed: Shop Gas Valve →
5 Flashes
Low Flame Signal
Weak flame sensor reading.
DIY check: Clean flame sensor. Check wire.
Common part needed: Shop Flame Sensor →
6 Flashes
Power / Ground Issue
Polarity reversed or ground missing.
DIY check: Check wiring polarity and ground.
7 Flashes
Gas Valve Error
Gas valve circuit fault.
DIY check: Check valve wiring. May need replacement.

8 Flashes
Blower Motor Fault
Blower not running or speed error.
DIY check: Check motor, capacitor, and wiring.
Common part needed: Shop Fan Motor →
If the same code keeps coming back after you have addressed the obvious cause (dirty filter, flame sensor, etc.), or if you smell gas, see burn marks, or the furnace will not come out of lockout after a power cycle, call a licensed HVAC technician. Electrical and gas work carries real safety risk.
