Step-by-Step Replacement
- Safety first: Turn off power at disconnect and breaker
- Access panel: Remove service panel on condenser
- Photograph wiring: Take photos before disconnecting
- Discharge capacitor: Short terminals with insulated screwdriver
- Remove old capacitor: Disconnect wires and remove mounting
- Install new capacitor: Match wire connections to photos
