This flexible coupling joins drain, condensate, or inducer/vent components with a leak-tight seal while absorbing vibration between mating parts. In condensing furnaces, a cracked or hardened coupling can allow condensate leaks, drain-line failures, or vacuum losses that trip the pressure switch — so a fresh OEM seal is cheap insurance for reliable operation.
