The 0130M00075 is a genuine OEM low-pressure (loss-of-charge) safety switch engineered for the Goodman/Amana APH1442M41AB heat pump and compatible R-410A systems. Wired into the low side of the refrigeration circuit, it opens the control circuit if suction pressure falls too far — guarding the compressor against running on a low or lost charge, a blocked metering device, or a failed reversing valve. A weak or stuck low-pressure switch is a frequent cause of intermittent no-cool/no-heat lockouts, so it is an inexpensive first step in diagnosis.
The genuine Goodman part is factory-calibrated to the exact cut-out/cut-in pressures your control board expects, with a sealed connector rated for outdoor condenser service. Generic switches may use approximate trip points or lighter housings that nuisance-trip or fail early in weather-exposed installs. For a safety control, we recommend the OEM part.
Easy (2/5). If on a Schrader fitting, no recovery needed — disconnect power, unclip the two terminals, thread out the old switch, and reinstall. Most techs finish in 20–30 minutes. Verify system charge after replacement.
This is a safety component — installation by an EPA-certified HVAC technician is recommended.
