The 0130M00075 is a genuine OEM low-pressure (loss-of-charge) safety switch engineered for the Goodman/Amana APH1442M41AA heat pump and compatible R-410A systems. Wired into the low side of the refrigeration circuit, it opens the control circuit if suction pressure drops too far — protecting the compressor from running on a low or lost charge, a blocked metering device, or a failed reversing valve. A weak or stuck low-pressure switch is a common cause of intermittent no-cool/no-heat lockouts, making this an inexpensive first replacement in the diagnostic path.
The genuine Goodman part arrives factory-calibrated to the exact cut-out/cut-in pressures your unit's control board expects, with a sealed connector rated for outdoor condenser service. Lower-cost generic switches may use approximate trip points or lighter housings that can nuisance-trip or fail early in weather-exposed applications. For a safety control, we recommend the OEM part.
Easy (2/5). Recover or pump down the charge if the switch is not on a Schrader fitting, disconnect power, unclip the two wire terminals, thread out the old switch, and reinstall. Most techs complete the swap in 20–30 minutes. Always verify system charge after replacement.
This is a safety component — installation by an EPA-certified HVAC technician is recommended.
