The Goodman 0130F00070 is a genuine OEM negative-air pressure switch built for the ACSH961155DXAA 96% AFUE condensing gas furnace. This switch proves that the inducer (draft) blower is running and that the venting and condensate paths are clear before the control board allows ignition. It senses the negative pressure created by the inducer through a hose; if pressure is insufficient — due to a weak inducer, a blocked flue or intake, water in the trap, or a cracked hose — the switch stays open and the furnace locks out on a no-heat fault instead of firing.
Pressure switches are calibrated to a specific trip point (in. w.c.) matched to the furnace's inducer and venting design. The OEM 0130F00070 carries the exact factory setpoint and port configuration. A generic switch with the wrong threshold can cause nuisance lockouts or, worse, allow operation with inadequate draft. OEM is strongly recommended for this safety part.
Power down, photograph the hose and wire routing, remove the mounting screws, transfer the hose and terminals to the new switch, and remount. About 20–25 minutes. Verify the hose is clear and the condensate trap drains freely before retesting.
