The Goodman 0130M00075 Low Pressure Switch is a genuine OEM refrigerant safety control for Goodman WGPH4549AMAB packaged units. It monitors low-side suction pressure and opens the control circuit to stop the compressor when pressure drops too low — protecting against loss-of-charge, a frozen coil, or restricted refrigerant flow. When it fails, the compressor may refuse to start or may run unprotected during a charge loss.
The OEM switch carries Goodman's exact cut-out and cut-in pressure setpoints. Aftermarket switches with mismatched setpoints can leave the compressor unprotected or cause repeated nuisance trips. For a low-cost safety component that guards an expensive compressor, the genuine OEM part is the smart choice.
Easy to moderate — port-mounted versions typically thread onto a Schrader fitting with two spade wires and no refrigerant recovery; brazed-in versions need an EPA-certified tech. Plan 15–35 minutes. Always disconnect power before servicing and confirm the wiring matches the unit diagram.
