The Goodman 0130M00087 Low Pressure Switch is a genuine OEM refrigerant safety control for the DCC072XXX3VRXFAA 6-ton (72,000 BTU) packaged air conditioner. It monitors suction-side pressure and opens the control circuit when pressure drops too low — guarding the compressor against loss-of-charge, refrigerant leaks, low-ambient operation, and evaporator freeze-ups. The auto-reset design re-closes once suction pressure recovers to a safe range.
The OEM Goodman switch carries the factory-calibrated cut-out and cut-in pressures matched to this unit's refrigerant circuit, so the compressor is protected exactly as engineered.
