The Goodman 0130F00010S is a genuine OEM flame sensor (flame rod) built for the WGGE4330A045MAB gas furnace. The flame sensor confirms to the control board that the burners have actually lit; when its microamp signal drops — usually from oxide buildup on the rod — the board closes the gas valve as a safety measure. The classic symptom is a furnace that ignites, runs a few seconds, then shuts off and retries (short-cycling), often ending in a lockout and no heat.
The OEM sensor uses the correct rod length, insulator, and terminal spacing so it seats at the proper depth in the flame envelope — critical for a stable microamp reading. Generic rods may sit too shallow or deep, causing intermittent faults even when clean. The factory part restores a reliable signal the first time.
Easy (2 of 5). Shut off power and gas, remove one mounting screw, unplug the spade connector, and install the replacement. Takes about 15–20 minutes. Tip: replace rather than just sanding a worn rod for a longer-lasting fix.
