The Goodman 0130F00010S Flame Sensor is a genuine OEM component engineered for the WFM18070S4BXCC gas furnace and compatible Goodman/Amana models. The flame sensor is the safety device that confirms your burners have actually lit — if it can't verify a flame within a few seconds of ignition, the control board shuts the gas valve to prevent unburned fuel from accumulating. A dirty, cracked, or worn sensor is the single most common cause of a furnace that lights briefly then shuts down (short cycling).
This is the factory Goodman part, built to the exact rod length, mounting bracket, and terminal spec of your furnace. Generic sensors are cheaper but often need bracket bending to seat correctly in the flame path, and out-of-spec rod geometry can cause weak microamp signals and nuisance lockouts. For a component this critical to safe operation, the OEM part is the reliable choice.
A single-screw replacement, roughly 10–15 minutes with a 1/4" nut driver. Cut power at the disconnect, remove the burner-compartment door, unplug the wire, swap the sensor, and reconnect. Handle the ceramic gently and avoid touching the rod with bare fingers.
