The Goodman 0130F00010S flame sensor is a genuine OEM replacement engineered for the GMNT100-4 gas furnace and compatible Goodman/Amana models. The flame sensor uses flame rectification to confirm that the burner has ignited; when it becomes coated with oxide or fails, the control board shuts off the gas valve as a safety measure, causing short-cycling, hard lockouts, or a furnace that lights briefly and then quits. Replacing a worn sensor is one of the most common furnace no-heat fixes.
This is the factory OEM sensor, machined to exact rod length and mounting geometry so it seats correctly in the burner flame path and reads a stable microamp signal. Generic universal sensors often need bending or adapting and can produce weak, drifting readings that trip the board. For a guaranteed fit and correct flame current, OEM is the safe choice.
Easy (1/5). Typically a single screw and one push-on wire connector. Cut power at the furnace switch, remove the old sensor, install the new one, and restore power. Most homeowners complete this in under 10 minutes. No brazing or refrigerant work required.
