This is a genuine OEM Goodman 0130F00010S flame sensor (flame rod), a direct factory replacement for the GCV90905DXBB gas furnace and many compatible Goodman and Amana models. The flame sensor uses flame rectification to prove that the burners have actually lit; if the control board doesn't sense that microamp current within a few seconds, it shuts the gas valve for safety. A dirty, cracked, or worn flame sensor is the single most common cause of a furnace that lights and then shuts off (short-cycling) or locks out on ignition failure.
The OEM 0130F00010S has the correct rod length, bracket, and terminal so it drops into the burner assembly and reads a strong, stable microamp signal. Universal flame sensors often require bending the rod or adapting the connector, and a poor position gives marginal flame-sense readings that fail again within weeks. For reliable ignition, choose the exact-fit OEM sensor.
