Genuine Goodman flame sensor (part number 0130F00010S) for the AMVC950453BXAD variable-speed condensing furnace. The flame sensor is a single rod that confirms a flame is present after ignition by conducting a tiny microamp rectification signal to the control board. When the rod oxidizes or cracks, the board can't prove flame and shuts the gas valve — the classic symptom is a burner that lights, then drops out after a few seconds (short-cycling on ignition lockout).
The OEM 0130F00010S uses the correct rod length, ceramic insulator, and bracket offset so the tip sits precisely in the flame envelope — critical for a stable microamp signal. Universal flame sensors often need bending or shimming and can read low, causing intermittent lockouts. For a clean, reliable fix we recommend OEM.
Rated Easy (2/5). Shut off power and gas, remove the single mounting screw and spade connector, install the new sensor, and reconnect. Take the opportunity to verify the burner-flame position. Expect a healthy flame-current reading (typically 2–6 µA) once running.
