The genuine Goodman 0130F00010S Flame Sensor is a direct-fit replacement for the Goodman/Amana AMVC80604BXAA two-stage variable-speed gas furnace. This flame rectification rod tells the control board that a flame is present after ignition. When it becomes coated or corroded, the furnace will light briefly then shut down on lockout — the single most common cause of short-cycling and repeated ignition failures.
Our OEM flame sensor is the exact factory component with the correct rod length, mounting geometry, and terminal, guaranteeing proper flame signal microamps and control-board compatibility. Aftermarket Generic sensors are lower cost but can vary in rod length and material, sometimes producing a weak flame signal that triggers nuisance lockouts. For a reliable long-term fix on a variable-speed furnace, OEM is recommended.
A single screw and one wire connection. Turn off power, remove the burner-compartment access panel, unplug the sensor lead, remove one mounting screw, and swap. Most homeowners complete this in under 15 minutes. Lightly cleaning a still-good sensor with fine emery cloth is a valid first step, but a pitted or cracked rod should always be replaced.
Compatible with Goodman and Amana AMVC80604BXAA furnaces. Backed by genuine OEM quality.
