The Goodman 0130F00010S Flame Sensor is a genuine OEM flame-rectification sensor for the AMH80803BNBD gas furnace. It verifies that the burner flame is present after ignition by passing a microamp rectified current to the control board. A dirty, corroded, or failed flame sensor is the single most common cause of furnace short cycling and ignition lockout — the burner lights, then shuts off after a few seconds.
The OEM 0130F00010S uses the correct rod length, alloy, and bracket geometry to sit precisely in the burner flame envelope, delivering a stable microamp signal the control board expects. Generic sensors can misalign in the flame, produce a weak signal, and cause nuisance lockouts. For reliable ignition, the OEM sensor is the safe choice.
Easy. A single mounting screw and one push-on wire connector. Shut off power and gas, remove the old sensor, seat the new one in the burner bracket, and restore power. Most DIYers complete this in 10–15 minutes.
