The Goodman 0130F00010S Flame Sensor is a genuine OEM flame-rectification sensor for ADSS800603AXAB gas furnaces. This sensor rod sits in the burner flame and confirms to the control board that ignition has occurred by conducting a tiny rectified microamp signal. When the sensor becomes coated with oxide or cracks, the board no longer 'sees' the flame and shuts off the gas valve — the classic symptom is a furnace that lights briefly then shuts down and short-cycles or locks out.
Our OEM Goodman flame sensor uses the correct rod length, alloy, and insulator rating so it produces a strong, stable flame signal the control board reliably reads. Generic sensors may sit at the wrong flame depth or degrade quickly, causing repeat lockouts. For dependable ignition, OEM is worth it.
Difficulty: Easy. Shut off power, remove one mounting screw, unplug the wire lead, and install the new sensor in the same position. Typically 10–20 minutes and one of the most common DIY furnace fixes. Handle the ceramic insulator carefully and avoid touching the rod. If short-cycling persists, have a technician confirm the microamp signal.
Backed by OEM quality and an exact-fit guarantee for your Goodman furnace.
