The genuine Goodman 0130F00010S Flame Sensor is the flame-rectification rod that confirms the burner has lit on the Goodman ADSS800603AXAA furnace. The control board reads the micro-amp signal from this sensor; if the flame isn't detected within a few seconds, the board shuts the gas valve for safety. A dirty, cracked, or worn flame sensor is the single most common cause of furnace short-cycling and intermittent no-heat calls.
This OEM Goodman sensor uses the correct rod length, bracket, and terminal for a true drop-in fit and a stable flame signal. Generic sensors can sit at the wrong depth in the flame, producing a weak micro-amp reading and continued lockouts. For reliable flame proving, choose OEM.
Easy (1 of 5). Remove one screw, unplug the wire, and swap. Turn off power and gas first; avoid touching the rod with bare fingers. If the fault persists, verify flame current with a meter (typically 1–6 µA).
