The genuine Goodman 0130F00010S flame sensor (also called a flame rod) is a direct-fit OEM replacement for the ACVC960603BNAA 96% AFUE variable-speed modulating gas furnace and many related Goodman/Amana high-efficiency models. The flame sensor confirms the burner has lit during each heating cycle; when it becomes oxidized or carbon-coated, the furnace will ignite and then shut down after a few seconds (short-cycling on flame loss). Replacing this inexpensive part is one of the most common fixes for a furnace that won't stay running.
This is a factory OEM Goodman sensor built to the exact rod length, bracket, and terminal spec of your furnace, ensuring proper microamp signal and a clean plug-in connection. Aftermarket generics may save a couple of dollars but often have slightly different rod geometry or terminals that cause weak flame signal and nuisance lockouts. For a part this affordable, OEM is the reliable choice.
Easy — DIY friendly (15–20 minutes). Power down the furnace, remove one mounting screw, unplug the wire lead, install the new sensor, and reconnect. No special tools beyond a 1/4" nut driver. Always confirm power is off at the disconnect before servicing.
