The 0130F00010S is the genuine Goodman flame sensor (flame rod) for the ACVC800603BXAA gas furnace and related Goodman/Amana models. The flame sensor confirms that the burner has lit by passing a small microamp current through the flame; if the signal is weak, the control board shuts off the gas valve as a safety measure. A dirty, corroded, or cracked sensor is the single most common cause of furnaces that light and then shut down after a few seconds (short cycling) or go into ignition lockout.
The OEM sensor uses the correct rod length, ceramic insulator, and terminal so the microamp signal reads true. Generic rods can sit at the wrong depth in the flame and produce a marginal signal that triggers nuisance lockouts. For a safety component, OEM is strongly recommended.
Easy (2 of 5). Typically a single screw and one wire connector — 15 minutes. Cut power at the furnace switch, remove the old sensor, and install the new one without touching the rod with bare fingers. A quick microamp check after install confirms a strong flame signal.
