The Goodman 0130F00010S flame sensor is a genuine OEM flame-rectification rod for the Goodman ACSS960603BNAA 96% AFUE gas furnace and compatible Goodman/Amana models. The flame sensor confirms the burner has lit by conducting a microamp rectified-flame signal back to the control board; when it oxidizes or fails, the furnace short-cycles or locks out on ignition. Replacing it is the most common fix for a furnace that lights then shuts off after a few seconds.
The OEM 0130F00010S uses the correct rod alloy, length, and bracket geometry so it sits properly in the flame path and returns a strong signal. Generic sensors can read weak, causing intermittent lockouts. The genuine part restores dependable ignition the first time.
Easy (2/5). Power off, remove one mounting screw, unplug the wire, and swap. Light cleaning is sometimes a temporary fix, but a corroded rod should be replaced. A 5-minute job for most homeowners.
