The Goodman 0130F00010S is a genuine OEM flame sensor (flame-rectification rod) built for the ACSH961155DXAA 96% AFUE gas furnace. The flame sensor confirms that a flame is actually present after ignition by conducting a micro-amp rectification current through the flame. When the sensing rod becomes oxidized or fails, the control board can no longer prove flame and shuts the gas valve — producing the classic symptom of a furnace that lights for a few seconds, then drops out and short-cycles or locks out on a no-heat fault.
The OEM 0130F00010S uses the correct rod length, alloy, and ceramic insulator so it sits properly in the flame envelope and reads a stable signal. Generic sensors can sit too shallow or deep, giving weak or erratic flame current that causes intermittent lockouts. OEM is the reliable choice for a permanent fix.
Cut power, remove the single mounting screw, unplug the wire, and install the new sensor. Avoid touching the rod with bare fingers. About 15–20 minutes with a 1/4" nut driver. If you've been cleaning the old sensor repeatedly, replacing it ends the cycle.
