The Goodman 20201802 is a genuine OEM condensate drain hose tube designed for the GMV950453BXA 96% AFUE variable-speed furnace and compatible Goodman/Amana high-efficiency models. On a condensing furnace, the secondary heat exchanger and collector box produce acidic condensate that must be routed cleanly to the drain trap. This molded tube is shaped to fit the factory drain path without kinking, sagging, or restricting flow.
The OEM 20201802 is pre-molded to the exact bend and length of the factory routing, so it seats on the barbed fittings without stress. Generic bulk tubing must be cut and shaped by hand and is more prone to kinks and leaks at the connections. For a clean, leak-free drain, the OEM tube is the reliable choice.
