This is a genuine OEM Goodman 20201802 condensate drain hose tube, a factory replacement for the GCV90905DXBB 96% AFUE high-efficiency gas furnace. On a condensing furnace, the secondary heat exchanger produces acidic condensate that must be routed away cleanly — this molded drain tube carries that water from the collector box to the furnace drain assembly. A cracked, brittle, or clogged tube is a common cause of pressure-switch lockouts and water-in-cabinet faults.
This genuine OEM tube is molded to the exact bend radius and fitting diameters of the Goodman collector box, so it seats without leaks and won't kink. Universal generic hose can work in a pinch but often fails to seal at the barbed fittings and may collapse under negative pressure, leading to nuisance shutdowns.
