The Goodman 20201802 Drain Hose Tube is a genuine OEM condensate line component for the Goodman/Amana AMH950904CXAG high-efficiency condensing furnace. In 90%+ AFUE furnaces the secondary heat exchanger produces acidic condensate that must drain freely; this molded hose routes that water from the collector box to the drain trap and out of the cabinet. A cracked, kinked, or brittle drain hose is a leading cause of water leaks and pressure-switch lockouts.
OEM drain hoses are pre-formed to the exact bend radius and length of your furnace's drain path, so they seat on the collector box and trap fittings without kinking or leaking. Generic hose cut to length can collapse at bends and restrict flow, causing overflow and nuisance shutdowns. This factory part fits and seals the first time.
A 10–15 minute repair. Power down the furnace, remove the old hose from its barbed fittings, clear any sludge from the trap, press the new hose fully onto both fittings, and secure any clamps. Verify a clean, downhill drain path with no dips.
