The Goodman 0130F00504 is the orange-coded draft-proving pressure switch for ACES800403ANAA gas furnaces. It verifies that the inducer/draft motor is pulling adequate vacuum before the control board energizes the igniter and gas valve. Rated at -0.60 inches of water column and wired normally open, the contacts close once correct draft is sensed — a critical safety interlock that prevents ignition without proper venting.
Pressure switches are matched to a furnace's specific draft characteristics. The genuine OEM Goodman switch carries the exact -0.60" set point and orange code for this model, so it proves draft reliably without nuisance lockouts or unsafe early ignition. Generic switches with the wrong rating are a leading cause of intermittent no-heat calls — install OEM.
Easy to moderate. Power down, note and transfer the wiring, remove the mounting screws, and reconnect the silicone draft hose firmly to the correct port. Inspect that hose for cracks or condensate blockage while you're in there. Most installs take 15–20 minutes.
