The Goodman 11177114 is a genuine OEM negative-air pressure switch engineered specifically for the GMV91155DXBA 96% AFUE two-stage variable-speed gas furnace and compatible Goodman/Amana models. It monitors inducer draft and combustion airflow, closing at a nominal -.50 inches of water column to confirm safe venting before the ignition sequence begins. A failed or drifting switch is one of the most common causes of a furnace that clicks, tries to start, then locks out.
This listing is the OEM Goodman unit — factory calibrated to the exact -.50" set point and built with the original diaphragm and terminal spacing. Aftermarket generics are lower cost but often ship with wider tolerances that can cause nuisance lockouts on two-stage boards. For a safety component, we recommend OEM.
Moderate. Two spade terminals and one or two mounting screws, plus a silicone pressure hose. Expect 15–25 minutes. Always shut off power and gas before servicing. If unsure, consult a licensed HVAC technician.
