The genuine OEM Goodman 11177113 is a dual-trip combination pressure switch engineered for the Amana/Goodman AMVC950704CXAE two-stage variable-speed furnace and related 95% AFUE models. This gray-bodied switch monitors negative draft pressure across both firing stages, verifying safe venting and combustion airflow before the ignition sequence is allowed to proceed. If a blocked flue, failed inducer, or clogged condensate line drops draft below the setpoint, the switch opens and locks out the burner to protect your equipment and home.
This is a genuine OEM Goodman switch with factory-calibrated diaphragms — both trip points are set and tested to Goodman's spec, so staging and safety lockout behave exactly as the control board expects. Aftermarket generics are often single-calibration and can cause nuisance lockouts or incorrect stage sequencing on variable-speed boards. When paired with a modulating control, OEM calibration matters.
Requires shutting off gas and power, disconnecting the pressure tubing at the correct ports, and transferring the wiring harness. Note tube routing before removal. A manometer check after install is strongly recommended. Most experienced DIYers complete this in 20–30 minutes; if you are unsure about draft testing, have an HVAC technician verify.
