Goodman A3468601 Pressure Switch Tubing is genuine OEM 3/16-inch ID hose used to route the draft-sensing signal on the Goodman/Amana AMH80905CXCA 80% AFUE gas furnace and related models. This small-diameter tube connects the induced-draft blower (or collector box) to the pressure switch, allowing the switch to sense negative pressure and prove that the inducer is moving air before the burners are allowed to ignite. Cracked, brittle, or blocked tubing is a frequent cause of pressure-switch lockouts and ignition faults.
The OEM A3468601 tubing is the correct 3/16in ID and rated for the temperature and condensate exposure it sees on the draft circuit. Generic hardware-store hose may be the wrong bore (leaking the signal) or degrade quickly in the furnace environment, leading to repeat failures. Using the factory part ensures a proper seal and reliable pressure sensing.
Easy — A 5-minute job. Power down the furnace, slip the old tube off both barbed fittings, cut the replacement to match, and press it onto the inducer port and pressure switch. Confirm no kinks. Test for proper ignition sequence afterward.
An inexpensive part that prevents nuisance lockouts. Genuine OEM tubing, ships fast.
