Genuine Goodman A3468601 Pressure Switch Tubing is a 3/16" inner-diameter hose that connects the furnace's air pressure switch to the inducer housing draft port on the WGGE4542A115MAA gas furnace. Though small and inexpensive, this tubing is essential to combustion safety — it transmits the negative draft signal that proves the inducer is running before ignition is allowed. Cracked, brittle, or clogged tubing is a leading cause of intermittent no-heat lockouts.
OEM tubing is cut and rated for furnace flue-area temperatures and holds a leak-free seal at the switch and inducer ports. Bargain silicone or vinyl tubing can soften, kink, or leak at the connection, producing a false draft signal. At this price point, the OEM hose is the obvious choice for a reliable repair.
A quick, low-cost fix. Power down the furnace, pull the old hose from both ports, and press the new tubing fully onto the switch nipple and inducer port, matching the original routing. Verify a snug fit with no kinks. Typical job time: under 10 minutes. Great preventive replacement whenever servicing the pressure switch.
