The Goodman A3468601 is genuine OEM 3/16-inch inside-diameter pressure switch tubing for the AMH81405DNAB gas furnace and compatible Goodman/Amana models. This small hose connects the inducer/vent port to the furnace pressure switch, allowing the switch to sense negative combustion-vent pressure before ignition is permitted. Cracked, brittle, kinked, or condensate-blocked tubing prevents the switch from closing, producing pressure-switch fault codes and no-heat lockouts. Replacing aged tubing is an inexpensive fix that restores accurate pressure sensing and safe operation.
OEM tubing uses the correct 3/16" ID and a heat- and condensate-rated compound so it seals tightly at the switch and inducer ports and resists hardening near the burner box. Generic hardware-store tubing may have the wrong bore or lower heat rating, leading to loose fits, air leaks, or premature cracking that reintroduces nuisance lockouts. On a combustion-safety circuit, the correct OEM line is well worth the small cost.
