The Goodman 20201902 is a genuine OEM 23-inch condensate drain hose tube engineered for the Amana/Goodman AMH950905CXAB high-efficiency furnace and other compatible 90%+ AFUE models. On a condensing furnace, the secondary heat exchanger and collector box generate acidic condensate that must be routed safely to the drain. This flexible tube carries that condensate away from the cabinet, and using the correct length and diameter prevents kinks, trapped water, and nuisance pressure-switch lockouts.
The OEM 20201902 is molded to the exact length and bend radius Goodman specifies, so it seats on the drain ports without stress and clears cabinet obstructions. Universal aftermarket hose can work but often needs trimming and may not tolerate acidic condensate as long, risking leaks and premature cracking. For a condensing furnace, OEM fit protects the drain system and warranty.
