The Goodman B1370150 Pressure Switch is a genuine OEM air-proving safety control for GMPN080-4 gas furnaces. This normally open (NO) switch closes at a -0.85" water column setpoint to confirm the inducer draft motor is producing adequate venting airflow before the furnace control board allows ignition. It's a critical safety device that prevents the burners from firing if the flue or inducer is blocked.
Pressure switch calibration is safety-critical. The genuine B1370150 is factory-set to the exact -0.85" WC trip point the GMPN080-4 control sequence expects. Generic switches with approximate setpoints can cause nuisance no-heat lockouts or, worse, allow firing under poor draft conditions. The OEM part guarantees the correct pressure tap, hose fitting, and terminal orientation for a plug-and-play fit.
Easy (1 of 3). Power down the furnace, pull the rubber sensing hose off the port, disconnect the spade terminals, and unscrew the switch. Install the replacement in reverse — about 15 minutes. Verify the hose is clear of condensate and firmly seated so the switch reads draft accurately.
Get your GMPN080-4 furnace safely back in service with the genuine Goodman B1370150 pressure switch.
