The Goodman B1370126 Pressure Switch is a genuine OEM air-proving switch rated at -0.40 inches of water column, normally open, used to confirm proper inducer draft before the burners fire on GUPX100-5B gas furnaces. If your furnace runs the inducer but never lights, a stuck or failed pressure switch is a frequent culprit.
The OEM B1370126 is set to the precise -0.40" WC threshold matched to the GUPX100-5B inducer and venting. A generic switch with a different setpoint may close too early (allowing ignition with inadequate draft) or refuse to close, causing repeated no-heat lockouts. For correct and safe operation, use the OEM switch.
Difficulty: Easy (2/5). Disconnect the two low-voltage wires and the rubber pressure tube, remove one or two mounting screws, and reverse to install the new switch. Plan 15–25 minutes. Inspect the pressure tube and inducer port for condensate or blockage while you are in there. Always cut power and gas before servicing.
Compatible with Goodman GUPX100-5B. Verify -0.40" WC and part number B1370126 before ordering.
