The Goodman B1370126 is a genuine OEM air-pressure safety switch engineered for the Goodman GUP115-5 gas furnace and compatible Goodman/Amana models. This normally-open (N.O.) switch senses the -0.40" water-column vacuum created by the induced-draft blower and closes to prove proper venting airflow before the ignition sequence can proceed. If the vent is blocked or the draft motor fails, the switch stays open and safely locks out the furnace, preventing dangerous combustion conditions.
Our OEM Goodman switch matches the factory pressure setpoint and hose-port geometry exactly, ensuring reliable ignition and no nuisance lockouts. Generic aftermarket switches are more affordable but must be verified for the correct -0.40" WC rating and port size — the wrong setpoint is the most common cause of intermittent no-heat calls.
Easy (1/5). Disconnect power, note the hose and wire positions, unplug the two spade terminals and the vacuum hose, swap the switch, and reconnect. Typically a 10–15 minute repair.
Always disconnect power before servicing. Verify the part number against your unit's rating plate before ordering.
